After the seller of a house accepts your offer to buy it, you and the seller will both have things to do and steps to take. Test everything in the home

After testing the water sources, you may want to test the electrical components of the house, such as the light switches and outlets. You should also test the furnace and AC system to make sure both are working.
Look closely at things the seller agreed to fix
You should also spend some time looking closely at anything the seller was required to fix according to the contract you have. As you do this, make sure the work is done and that it is done properly. If you find something that is not right, your agent should notify the seller of the home immediately so he or she can remedy the problem.
If you perform your final walk-through and find things that are not right, you may need to push the closing of the house off for a few days or weeks.
